The Montessori School of Englewood

How to Apply

Are you interested in applying to our school? We look forward to meeting you and getting to know your child! These steps will walk you through the process:

Application Process

Thank you for for exploring the option of enrolling your child at the Montessori School of Englewood. At MSE, we teach the whole child — emotionally, cognitively, socially — in the unique context of their own family and neighborhood. If this sounds like a community you believe in, we would love for you to enroll your child here.

  • Any child ages 3-14 who lives in the city of Chicago may enroll at the Montessori School of Englewood. We accept applications on a rolling basis. MSE does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, gender, nationality, ethnicity, or sexuality. As MSE is a Chicago Public School, tuition is free for all students.
  •  If there are more eligible applicants than there are spaces available, new students will be selected by lottery. However, priority is given to siblings of current MSE students. After the lottery, each randomly selected admitted student will be notified; those who aren’t selected will be placed on a wait list.
  • Prior to starting school at MSE, parents/guardians must provide a completed enrollment application, immunization records, as well as up-to-date physical, dental, and vision examinations. These items must be returned to the front office manager.
