After School Programs
TMSOE is pleased to announce phase 1 of after-school academic and enrichment programs! Programs will run from Sept. 22nd through Dec. 11th and will take place Monday through Thursday from 3:30 PM to 4:30 PM. See the schedule below for further information on the programs.
Program Details
Mondays & Wednesdays:
- Literacy (K - 2nd Grade)
- Improve and expand reading and writing skills.
- Academic Enrichment (3rd - 8th Grade)
- Additional support and instruction in English Language Arts, Math, and Test Prep.
- Freedom Club (7th & 8th Grade)
- Explores historical movements with minority groups through books, films, and discussion.
Tuesdays & Thursdays:
- Ballet (K - 2nd Grade)
- Intro to classical ballet exercises and basic ballet vocabulary.
- Music (K - 8th Grade)
- Students learn about rhythm, movement, how to read music and cultural music traditions.
- Tier 3 Invention (1st - 5th Grade)
Wednesdays:
- Girl Scouts (K - 8th Grade) 3:15pm - 4:15pm (Applications located at Welcome Desk)
- Empowers girls to build courage, confidence, character, and leadership skills through hands-on experiences.
