The Power of Three!

Dear Families,

 

Have you noticed that the number three comes up a lot in Montessori? We have three-hour work cycles. We notice the three-year rhythm in children’s development. And in all our classrooms we use a three-stage or three-period approach when we introduce children to new content.

 

In this week’s blog, we dig into the history of this model and share how it benefits children, from their early years through adolescence.

Chicago Early Learning

Chicago Early Learning is now accepting applications for the 2023-24 school year. 

 

High-quality preschool programs for children prenatal to age five are available in every neighborhood in Chicago. Get ahead of the summer rush and apply before May 2, when the Initial Application Period ends.


The Chicago Early Learning Initial Application Period window is from April 11 – May 2

Applications submitted within this window are not considered on a first-come-first-served basis. However, applying before May 2 will help increase your child’s chances of getting into your preferred programs.

Applying at any point before May 2 will give your child the same chance of getting into your preferred programs, so there’s no pressure to apply immediately.
