For the past year we have been working with The Trotter Project and UofI Master Gardeners to add in a farm to classroom initiative and it has worked out tremendously.

We have worked to create a productive vegetable garden outside of our schools and turn them into interactive classrooms to engage and inspire students while teaching them where their food comes from, how it’s grown, and how to prepare it.

This is a first of its kind endeavor for both entities and will be a collaborative effort with our network of supporting chefs, community members, faculty, and students.
