Lend-A-Hand Tutoring at the Chicago Bar Association provides free one-to-one tutoring to students from the Montessori School of Englewood.

Most of our volunteers are attorneys.

The program has a focus on literacy and we provide our student-tutor pairs with an individualized reading

plan to work on every week.

We also have special events such as pizza parties, game

nights, field trips and movie night.

Tutoring takes place on Tuesday evenings from 5:30 to 7:00 p.m. at the CBA from the end of September until mid-May.

Students are transported to and from tutoring via school bus.

If you are interested in having your child in Lend-A-Hand Tutoring, you can fill out an application in the school office. Or you can contact Kathryn McCabe at (312) 554-2041 or
